Doncaster flooring, done by a family firm
Mobile Carpets & Flooring Shop Doncaster is part of Floor Coverings Local, a family-run South Yorkshire business with more than three decades in flooring.
A showroom that travels
We don't have a high street shop, and we don't want one. Paying for premises would only push our prices up. Instead, our mobile home showroom brings hard floors and carpets to your door.
It also makes choosing easier. A grey LVT or an oak-effect laminate can look very different next to your kitchen units than it does under shop lighting. At home, you see the real thing.
From the first visit to the fitting and aftercare, you deal with the same family business.
- More than 30 years in flooring
- Lower overheads, lower prices
- Our own fitters
- Screeding and ply boarding where floors need it
- No-cost, no-obligation quotes
- Card and cash payments
What our customers say

So happy with floor coverings local! Had all downstairs (kitchen, hall, w/c & living room) fully laminated last week. Took the fitter 2 full days, he worked so hard! Absolute pleasure to have in our home and over the moon with the results and the price! Would 100% recommend.

Brilliant service, very quick and easy from making our first enquiry to getting a quote and getting it fitted. We had a full house fitted with both carpet and laminate. Everything was explained to us clearly and no hidden charges. The day of the fitting went very smoothly. The fitters arrived as arranged and were hardworking and got the whole house done very quickly to a very high standard. I would highly recommended floor coverings local.
